Connect Systeme.io with WhatsApp Business to send personalized automatic messages whenever a key event occurs in your funnels. This integration uses the official WhatsApp Business API through Meta's Embedded Signup — configured directly from the integration portal.

Personalized Messages With Dynamic Variables
WhatsApp requires pre-approved message templates. You create them inside the portal using placeholder variables ({{1}}, {{2}}...) that get replaced automatically with each contact's real data when the message is sent.

Variable Types

Setup: 5 Steps
➡️Step 1 — Connect WhatsApp Business Go to Settings → WhatsApp tab inside the portal and click Start Setup. Connect your Meta account and WhatsApp Business number through the Embedded Signup process. If you want to keep using your current WhatsApp Business App on the same number, enable the Coexistence option. WhatsApp Business API has its own per-conversation pricing set by Meta.
➡️Step 2 — Create Message Templates In the WhatsApp Dashboard inside the portal, click View Templates → Create New Template. Fill in the name, language, message body, and variables. Templates are submitted to Meta for approval — this can take up to 24 hours. You can only use a template once its status shows Approved.
➡️Step 3 — Create Your Integration Click Create New WhatsApp Integration and fill in: description, trigger event, language, template, variables, and sending phone number. Save — the portal generates a unique webhook URL for this integration.
➡️Step 4 — Configure the Webhook in Systeme.io In your Systeme.io funnel, open Create Automation Rule. Select the matching trigger event, choose Send Webhook as the action, and paste the webhook URL from Step 3. Save the rule.
➡️Step 5 — Test Your Integration Back in the portal's WhatsApp tab, use Send Test Message. Select your integration and template, enter a valid number, and send. If the message arrives, your integration is live.
